The Offering to the Pachamama, also known as Payment to the Earth, is an ancestral ritual of gratitude to Mother Earth. In this unique experience you will be able to give thanks for what you have received, ask for your dreams and those of your loved ones, and connect with the spiritual energy of the Andes. Accompanied by a wise Andean, you will prepare the offering with coca leaves and traditional elements, in a natural environment of the Sacred Valley that surrounds the ceremony in a deep mysticism and harmony.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ceremony of Offering to the Pachamama in Chinchero

Before starting with the offering ceremony to the Pachamama, our transport will pass by your hotel around 08:30 a.m. to take you to the village of Chinchero, where our lodge is located, a place prepared to live this unique experience.

From your arrival you will be accompanied by an Andean shaman, who will guide you through the ancestral ritual. During the ceremony, the offering will be prepared with different elements of nature, food, drinks, small objects that represent the present world and, mainly, the coca leaf, considered the sacred bridge between the deepest desires and Mother Earth.

Once the preparation is finished, the Andean master will give the offering to the Pachamama, in an act of gratitude and spiritual connection.

At the end, you will enjoy a typical lunch in our lodge before returning to the city of Cusco by private transport.
