Community-based Tourism in the Land of the Yachaqs: ancestral wisdom in the heart of the Sacred Valley
The Land of the Yachaqs is a living space where Andean communities proudly share the heritage of their ancestors. Made up of eight ayllus located in different corners of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, this experience invites you to immerse yourself in local life and discover how tradition, history and culture are kept alive on a daily basis.
Here you can participate in agricultural, livestock and handicraft activities, learn about the Andean cosmovision through rituals and ceremonies, and be amazed by the cultural richness of each community. From the textile art in Amaru, the agricultural knowledge of Huayllafara and Chichubamba, to the connection with nature in Patabamba or Socma, each experience is unique and transformative.
More than a journey, The Land of the Yachaqs is an opportunity to live with Andean families, rediscover ancestral wisdom and feel the true spirit of the Sacred Valley.
